This one certainly didn’t disappoint and with the sun joining in and coming out to play too, ensured a wondrous Bank Holiday, for us definitely!
Maxwell took a rare day off from working to enjoy the sunshine and chill!! After a lazy start we hopped on our bicycles and headed off for lunch at one of our Old Portsmouth Favourites ‘Still & West’ and had a drink and some lunch sat out side watching the boats sail by…
Once tummies were filled and glasses drained we took advantage of our annual passes to the Historic Dockyard. Because of the beautiful sunshine we grabbed and icecream and joined the cue for a harbour tour!
It was so sunny at this point I actually got a bit of a pink nose!!
After the harbour tour and a drink from the cafe we checked out The Warrior, a wonderful old battle ship. The day ended with another drink in The Bridge as the sun set and we chuckled over an amusing fortune we got from the old fortune teller game in the Historic Dockyard cafe. (**It’s twice now we’ve received this card… I think it’s obviously going to happen!! )
