I have a beautiful friend called Elle, she also happens to make beautiful jewellery.

Elle set up Broken Arrow in 2011, and I have adored it since day 1! Elle creates the kind of jewellery you don’t want to take off.  In her own words…. ‘The silver with the story behind it; Perhaps once clutched in hands in a faraway place. The feathers you collected as a child whilst wandering through the forest. The skulls because you’re rock and roll and a beaten pair of boots are rarely off your feet.’

I brought my best friend Katie this stunning Might Oak necklace, a long string of teal, white and tan beads, with a tiny dirty gold acorn adorning the bottom. Its a beauty, and I know katie will love it.

Me, I’m more of a skulls kinda girl and thought I’d share with you my favourite piece…

This necklace is called the Indiana necklace and as you can see comes in 2 colour ways, Ebony & Gold or Blood & Bone.

Aren’t they stunning? You can buy Elle’s gorgeous jewellery from her website or pop into Flo and Stan on Albert Road, Southsea. I also recommend checking out the Broken Arrow Facebook page for updates and sneaky peek at new collections… here are a few snaps that caught my eye…

And remember that Broken Arrow Jewellery is made for the lost souls, kindred spirits, wandering hearts & voodoo children. For gypsies who wear their treasures at once, and for those who sleep with stones on their bones! Happy Shopping….

So, Last weekend I had a stall at the Portsmouth Tattoo Convention.

If you weren’t in the know, I do a bit of illustration here and there and recently had my first solo exhibition, you can read all about that here. So I was asked by the lovely organisers if I’d like a stall…. Urm yes please!

I though I’d share with you a few pics of my stall and some pics I took strolling round.

It was great fun (albeit a little quiet on the Sunday) but I would definitely be up for doing some more! Also, I didn’t get any pics of my friends stall but you NEED to check out Elle’s site Broken Arrow, she was trading at the same time and her pieces are stunning! Trust me get over to her website and treat yourself!!

So there you go….

Quite a few pics of my stall, one of the main room being set up (didn’t get a chance to sneak away and get a pic of it full of people actually doing tattoos), my favourite stall and the boy being a strongman!

Cant wait till my next convention now!
